Luxury home accommodation firm Under The Doormat is to open a boutique aparthotel on London’s Sloane Gardens next month.

The renovated 3 Sloane Gardens will features nine luxury apartments with kitchens, offering “a number of services traditionally offered by hotels such as a ‘live-in’ service manager, reception and luxury linens and toiletries”.

Under The Doormat has signed a five-year management agreement with property manager, investor and developer Cadogan. The group manages over 300 luxury properties in London, including individual family homes and apartments.

Booking are now available for the property, for stays from October 1. Commenting on the news Under The Doormat’s CEO, Merilee Karr, said:

“With travellers seeking alternative accommodation options like home stays, which combine the high standards of a hotel with the space and facilities of a home, we see this partnership as an important step in ensuring we can continue to provide professionally managed accommodation in the post-Covid world to meet the increase in demand from customers wanting this sort of experience.

“The property itself is wonderful with the front apartments overlooking the beautiful Sloane Gardens and the rear apartments overlooking the impeccably kept private gardens. It’s retained its original character but having been completely renovated it’s now fitted out to meet the contemporary demands of modern travellers. Our team at Under The Doormat can’t wait to welcome our first guests to this fantastic property.”

Last month Cadogan announced plans to partner with country house hotel Beaverbrook to open a London outpost for the brand, housed within two Georgian townhouses on Sloane Street.

It will be Cadogan’s fourth hotel collaboration, alongside 11 Cadogan Gardens, which joined luxury hotel and restaurant collection Relais and Chateaux in 2019, the Belmond Cadogan Hotel, which reopened after a multi-million pound renovation project last year, and the forthcoming Costes Hotel at One Sloane Square.
