Air Antwerp is resuming its London City route.

Yes, I realise Belgian remains subject to UK quarantine rules, but it’s good to know Air Antwerp resumed its London City (LCY) service on Monday.

The route, popular with some Business Traveller readers, had been expected to restart on September 1, but UK quarantine rules prompted a postponement.

Air Antwerp will operate a single flight which operates on four days of the week: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

It is suggested readers check schedules using Airantwerp.com as these may vary depending on the day of the week and how traffic figures develop in the coming weeks.

This London City to Antwerp link is more vital than ever for business travellers.

Why?

Because Eurostar’s London-Brussels service is currently operating at a fraction of its normal frequency.

On many days there is just a single daily London-Brussels service which then continues to Amsterdam.

And the London-Amsterdam service does not call at Antwerp so Eurostar travellers must change in Brussels.
