Radisson Hotel Group has opened the doors to a new luxury desert retreat 98km north of Riyadh.
The Nofa Resort Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Hotel, features 57 secluded luxury villas and bungalows designed in an elegant African style, with premium amenities including a private swimming pool and garden.
Previously operated as a members-only resort, the property, home to a spa, several pools and multiple dining options, is now publicly bookable exclusively through Radisson’s website Radissonhotels.com
“The Nofa Resort Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Hotel, is an iconic and exceptionally exclusive product. We have received numerous requests from individual guests wanting to experience the beauty of this Safari jewel in the Saudi desert and we are excited that the hotel is now publicly bookable and accessible to everyone,” said Tim Cordon, Area Senior Vice President, Middle East & Africa. “The international travel ban in Saudi Arabia has also been a driving force for local demand with many searching for a peaceful sanctuary to escape to, while feeling completely free and safeguarded from the contraction and spread of COVID-19.” he added.
The resort overlooks Nofa Wildlife Park where guests can experience a unique African safari that’s home to more than 700 animals – including zebras, sables, giraffes, cheetahs and many other wild animals.
Specialised activities include the impressive equestrian resort featuring a show-jumping arena, a racetrack, a polo field and an extensive stable complex.
There’s also an 18-hole golf course, considered one of the best in Saudi Arabia, which makes use of the natural desert landscape to set a challenge for even the most experienced golfers.
Three on-site restaurants include Tswalu, serving international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner; the upscale Butcher’s Den featuring grilled specialties and an outdoor terrace seating with lake views; and Al Fresco serving Italian classics. Tailored private dining service is available for special occasions or business events.
