United Airlines is planning to offer new nonstop services to Africa, India and Hawaii.
Starting this December, United will fly daily between Chicago and New Delhi and, starting in spring 2021, the airline plans to operate flights between San Francisco and Bangalore.
The US carrier will also begin flights between Newark/New York and Johannesburg in spring 20210. In late spring, United will introduce new service between Washington, DC, and Accra, Ghana and Lagos, Nigeria.
In the summer of 2021, United says it will fly non-stop flights four times weekly between Chicago and Kona and between Newark/New York and Maui.
Starting this week, United will begin a new three-times-weekly, non-stop service between Chicago and Tel Aviv. United currently operates nonstop service between Tel Aviv and its hubs in Newark/New York and San Francisco and will resume service between Washington and Tel Aviv in October.
The airline says its new international routes are currently subject to government approval. Tickets will be available for purchase on united.com and the United app “in the coming weeks”.

The airline’s new trans-Atlantic flights will be flown with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring United Polaris business class.
United’s new service between Chicago and Kona will operate with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft and service between New York/Newark and Maui will operate with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
