Cathay Pacific has expanded its Whats App service to include customers in the UK.
The technology was extended to India customers earlier this year, and those based in the UK can now use for services including making new bookings, amending or upgrading existing bookings, seeking assistance on baggage queries, and redeeming Asia Miles.
The service is now available in the UK daily (excluding public holidays) between 0900 and 1800. Customers can access Cathay’s Whats App business on +852 2747 2747.
Commenting on the news regional general manager of Europe, Kinto Chan, said:
“We always strive to offer our customers the convenience and the reassurance they value. The way we communicate has evolved and our customers have told us that in addition to phone calls, emails and social media, they would like to communicate with us through instant messaging.
“Our Whatsapp customer support connects our customers directly with our customer care team. We can now provide a swift and seamless response, whether it is a new booking our customers would like to make, travel arrangements that need amending or information about their upcoming trip.”
