Marriott has opened its first Courtyard-branded hotel in Malaysia: Courtyard by Marriott Penang.
The hotel is located along the bustling Jalan Macalister in the heart of Penang’s UNESCO-listed George Town. The property offers easy access to local attractions, shopping complexes, and artistic street mural.
The hotel has 199 rooms and suites that offer breathtaking city views. The guestrooms are well-equipped with necessary amenities and facilities including a spacious work desk designed for business travellers.
In terms of F&B, Courtyard by Marriott Penang has Penang Kitchen, serving a mix of traditional and international cuisines and the Pool Bar for a selection of interesting cocktails and mocktails.
Their MICE facility includes a pillarless ballroom that can accommodate up to 150 people and is ideal for conferences and intimate social gatherings.
The property also offers an outdoor infinity pool overlooking Penang Hill and a fitness centre.
