Thailand-based Dusit International is set to strengthen its brand presence across India with a plan to open at least two Dusit-branded hotels per year from 2021 onwards in tier I and tier II cities. Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru are a few cities, being targeted for the expansion.
India is one of the top seven source markets for Dusit Hotels and Resorts worldwide.
One of Dusit’s upcoming properties in India is Dusit Princess Serviced Suites Kolkata, slated to open in Q2 2022. The hospitality brand has partnered with Jain Group, a real estate, hospitality and finance organisation based in Kolkata, for this project.
Dusit Princess Serviced Suites Kolkata will occupy a prime location near the green expanse of Eco Park, only five minutes by road from both the city centre and the airport, and just one minute from Kalakshetra metro station.
It is a part of Jain Group’s high-end residential development project, Dream One.
Comprising 42 three-bedroom units, the new property will feature a swimming pool, all-day dining outlet, a speciality restaurant, and a fitness centre. Banqueting and meeting facilities will also be available for intimate and midscale events.
In addition, Dusit is expected to conclude at least four more signings within the next 12 months.
