Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA has opened its first Grand Millennium-branded hotel in Saudi Arabia, located in the city of Tabuk.

Ideal for business and leisure travellers, the five-star Grand Millennium Tabuk in north-western KSA features 218 rooms and suites and is on the doorstep of the Tabuk University complex while Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Airport is just 20 minutes away.

The hotel’s design is reminiscent of the historic Hejaz Railway, which in days gone by, was an important route for travel and trade between Damascus and Medina.

Facilities include four dining outlets – Al Maksoura (The Cabin) for all-day dining, Juzurna Arabesque restaurant, Al Multaqa (The Gathering Place) lobby café and Al Manzar Pool Lounge – while extensive meeting and event space spans 1,082 sqm and features an 800-capacity ballroom and five meetings rooms covering 283 sqm.

For leisure, the hotel offers a recreation area with indoor and outdoor swimming pools for adults and kids, gym and spa facilities for men and women, two tennis courts, a multipurpose sports court and a kids’ play area.

Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA plans to open 50 hotels in Saudi Arabia over the next 10 years and is targeting both primary and secondary cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Medina, Hail, Tabuk, Jazan and Abha, to name a few.
