Marriott International’s lifestyle brand Moxy Hotels has announced the opening of Moxy Osaka Shin Umeda on September 1, 2020.
The property is owned by Sekisui House, a Japan-based housing company and Far East Organization, Singapore’s largest private property developer.
The hotel’s opening marks the third Moxy hotel in Japan and the second in Osaka.
Located in the Umeda district, one of the popular city centres in Osaka, the hotel is an ideal location for both business and leisure travellers. The property offers convenient access to tourist attractions and shopping districts in Osaka as well as surrounding prefectures including Kyoto and Nara.
The hotel features 288 contemporary style guestrooms; the brand’s signature Bar Moxy – a multi-space zone where guests’ check-in and checkout as well as work and socialise. Recreational facilities include an outdoor terrace; a library space and a 24-hour fitness centre among others.
The elegant design highlights the vibe and atmosphere of the Fukushima area where Osaka locals love to gather for gourmet evenings.
