India-based private airlines, Vistara, Goair, Indigo and Spicejet have announced flights between India and the UAE, under air bubble arrangements.
As per the latest travel directives, Indians holding any type of valid visa can travel to the UAE. Likewise, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) cardholders, residing in the country with which an air bubble arrangement has been finalised, can enter India.
Currently, India has set up bilateral travel arrangements with the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, the UAE, Kuwait and the Maldives.
The Tata-SIA carrier Vistara is operating direct flights from Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai until August 30, 2020. Return fares start from ₹17,749. Bookings can be made here.
On the India-UAE sector, Goair is connecting Mumbai with Dubai, Bengaluru with Abu Dhabi and Delhi with Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The airline’s services from the UAE to India is available on Dubai-Goa, Abu Dhabi-Kannur, Dubai-Hyderabad and Dubai-Kochi routes among others. Indigo has deployed its aircraft on sectors including Mumbai-Dubai, Mangaluru- Sharjah, Lucknow-Dubai, Kozhikode-Dubai and Abu Dhabi-Gaya. Travel criteria and complete flight schedule are available here. Under its middle-eastern network, the airline will also fly to Doha.
Starting from today, Spicejet will fly between Dubai and five Indian cities — Delhi, Jaipur, Kozhikode, Madurai and Mumbai.
