Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital’s first low-cost carrier, has launched two new destinations – Kabul in Afghanistan and Dhaka in Bangladesh.

Direct flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport to both cities commenced on Friday (August 7) and will operate until October 30, 2020.

It follows the launch of the airline’s inaugural service to Alexandria in Egypt last month (July 14), followed the next day (July 15) with a direct service to the Nile city of Sohag.

Customers can book all flights on Air Arabia’s website, by calling the airline’s call centre or through their travel agency.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi was formed following an agreement between Etihad Airways and Air Arabia to establish the capital’s first low-cost carrier.

It follows the highly successful business model of Air Arabia and complements the services of Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi, catering to the region’s fast-growing low-cost travel sector.
