Oakwood is requiring all guests to wear face masks in indoor public areas at its properties.

More than 80 Oakwood properties globally have enforced the new safety precaution, which follows the launch of Oakwood Clean 360, a programme that details the brand’s new measures aimed at meeting the health and safety challenges of Covid-19.

The serviced apartment and hospitality management company says all of its associates are equipped with face masks to assist guests who do not have one.

“We recognise the need to introduce enhanced precautions to provide our guests with a safe sanctuary to call home. No effort will be spared to provide peace of mind for our stakeholders,” said Dean Schreiber, chief executive officer of Oakwood.

Oakwood’s new Clean 360 programme includes safety and health measures like enhanced cleaning of touch points like door handles, installing hand saintlier stations in common areas, and removing decorative pillows and door hangers.
