After Indigo and Goair, Spicejet is now offering passengers the option to book two seats or a full row.

Available across the airline’s domestic network, ‘Spicejet Extra Seats’ facility comes with a range of benefits including priority check-in, preferred boarding and bag out service.

Passengers can reserve extra seats while making the booking or through ‘manage booking’ section on spicejet.com. The feature is also available on its agent portal.

This service can also be availed during web check-in and can be booked up to six hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Travellers wanting to book more than a single row can do so by contacting the airline’s call centre.

Shilpa Bhatia, chief commercial officer, Spicejet said, “While air travel remains the safest mode of transport, we have been constantly thinking on how to make the travel experience even more comfortable and safer.

“Spicejet’s Extra Seat feature is a step in that direction. Passengers can now opt for this product and they will also be entitled to complimentary priority services.”
