Ryanair has extended its existing change fee waiver to all new September bookings.

Any customers who book after July 17, for travel in September, will be able to move their flights until December 31, 2020, without incurring a change fee.

This is an extension of a policy already in place for July and August flights.

Commenting on the news Ryanair’s director of marketing and Digital, Dara Brady said that “In order to provide as much flexibility and confidence as possible for our customers this summer, we have extended the waiving of our flight change fee to new September bookings”.

“As the holiday season will be prolonged this year, customers can now plan a well-deserved break knowing that flights in July, August and now September can be moved without any flight change fee if their travel plans change”.

Last week Ryanair announced plans to cut 1,000 Irish flights in August and September, because of the current quarantine in Ireland.

And earlier this month Ryanair pledged to process 90 per cent of Covid-19 cash refunds by end of July. The carrier said it had trained additional refunds staff to help eliminate the backlog.
