MG Motor India has unveiled the all-new six-seater Hector Plus.

While presenting the car, Gaurav Gupta, chief commercial officer, MG Motor India said, “the six-seater car is an output of multiple interactions that we had with our consumers and engineers. And we have attempted to utilise the ample space in the car to deliver the need for more comfort and convenience for our customers.

“Hector Plus is a perfect family car of four adults and children.”

The car is equipped with six airbags, 3-point seatbelts, 360-degree camera view, front driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, hill road assistance and traction control system.

The seats are in smoked sepia brown leather. The highlights are the sliding and reclining captain seats in the second row that will give customers much required individual space. The third row has bench seats, appropriate for children.

Technology plays a key role in Hector Plus with the new chit-chat voice feature in the latest version of the iSmart next-gen enabling better interactivity and engagement. Other features include pre-loaded entertainment content; smart drive information and online voice recognition.

Some additional important characteristics are dual-pane panoramic sunroof, front parking sensors, a hands-free opening function for the tailgate. There is a smart swipe feature, where you can open the boot with your legs.

Hector Plus will be available in both petrol and diesel. It gets a 2-litre diesel capable of producing 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol capable of producing 143 PS and 250 Nm.

The prices start at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
