Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Airport has completed a multi-million pound refurbishment programme which has seen rooms being upgraded to the Deluxe King category, and three new meeting space being created.

The 364-room hotel is located on the Eastern Perimeter Road, within walking distance of Hatton Cross Underground station, and around a five minute Hoppa bus ride from the airport.

The £4.2 million renovation works have seen all rooms refurbished, with 159 of them being upgraded to Deluxe King Rooms, which offer larger bathrooms with walk-in showers.

The property’s meeting spaces have also been renovated, with three new rooms created, bringing the hotel’s meetings and conference facilities to a total of ten rooms.

A new shop area has also been added offering grab and go items, Piacetto coffee and amenity travel items, and the hotel said “additional areas of focus” for the refurbishment works have included the reception, restaurant, bar and gym.

The last of these now features Technogym equipment including a new high-intensity Technogym Bike on which guests can join interactive live spin classes from London’s One Rebel studios.

The hotel says it is also the first in the UK to receive the Certificate of Assurance from Bureau Veritas for its measures in response to Covid-19 prevention.

Commenting on the refurbishment Richard Lee, general manager, said:

“The refurbishment started and ended with our guests in mind to ensure that we are the hotel of choice for travellers staying at Heathrow. With these renovations we can offer our guests an affordable upscale hotel with unexpected amenities, which enhance the offering of an airport hotel bringing the customer experience to another level.”

The Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Airport has operated since 2014 (prior to this the property was marketed under the Jurys Inn brand).

It is one of two Garden Inn hotels at Heathrow, the other being the Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 which opened last year and which is connected to the two terminals by a covered bridge and underground walkway.
