Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is to add two Spanish properties under its Ramada by Wyndham brand in the coming months.

The 133-room Ramada by Wyndham Valencia Almussafes was previously marketed under Wyndham’s Tryp brand, and has been “completely renovated with all the Ministry of Health of Spain’s required protocols implemented, as well as Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ Count on Us health and safety measures”.

The hotel is set to reopen on July 1, and is located close to the Rey Juan Carlos Business Park. Features include an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar, three meeting rooms and a gym.

Meanwhile the Ramada by Wyndham Madrid Tres Cantos (previously marketed under the Holiday Inn Express brand) is scheduled to open in September, and is located to the north of the city close to the Euronova Business Park. Features include 61 rooms, a gym, all-day snack bar and three meeting rooms.

It will be the second Ramada hotel to open in the Spanish capital, following the debut of the brand in Spain with the Ramada by Wyndham Madrid Getafe in late 2019.

Commenting on the news Christian Michel, vice president, development, Europe, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts said:

“We are extremely pleased with Ramada by Wyndham’s steady growth in Spain and with our continued relationship with (management company) Hotel Collection International and (owner) Covivio.

“These latest additions in Madrid and Valencia will enable us to further drive our overall mission of making hotel travel possible for all, as well as offer all travellers more options in two sought after travel destinations.”
