As part of the repatriation drive, Vande Bharat Mission, India has announced additional flights from Doha.
Embassy of India in Doha, Qatar has updated a list of repatriation flights from Doha to various cities in India. These flights are set to operate between June 9 and June 19.
Air India Express will be operating flights from Doha to Coimbatore, Delhi, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Madhurai, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram and Trichy.
India started the Vande Bharat Mission on May 7 — in phase 1, Air India and its subsidiary Air India Express operated 64 flights to bring 14,800 Indians back whereas, in phase 2, which is ongoing, over 149 flights have been arranged to bring back over 30,000 stranded nationals from 31 countries.
The third phase of Vande Bharat Mission is set to commence on June 9 and will be carried out until June 30.
