Wizz Air has confirmed plans to resume flights from London Luton to four Spanish destinations from July 1.

The low-cost carrier posted the following message on its Twitter page:

“Are you ready to say yes again to travelling? From July 1st we’re taking you from London Luton for a holiday to Malaga, Mallorca, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote directly!”

The move coincides with the Spanish government’s decision to remove the current 14-day quarantine restrcitions on arrivals into the country from the start of July.

But travellers will still be subject to quarantine mesaures when arriving into the UK, following the government’s announcement of restrictions which come into effect from June 8.

Wizz Air resumed selected services from Luton on May 1, including flights to Budapest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi, Suceava, Targu Mures, Satu Mare, Timisoara, Belgrade, Bratislava, Kosice, Lisbon, Tel Aviv and Tenerife in the Spanish Canary Islands.
