Delta has published its planned international flight schedules for May, with a total of just seven transatlantic and transpacific routes.

The US carrier said that “Customer demand, CDC guidelines, and government travel regulations continue to shape Delta’s network schedule”, adding that “While the airline’s schedule for the second quarter of 2020 is 85 per cent smaller than the same period last year, Delta continues to provide essential service to key cities globally along with essential service throughout the US”.

Earlier this month Delta announced social distancing plans including the blocking of middle seats on all flights in Main Cabin, Delta Comfort + and Delta Premium Select cabins until May 31.

International routes for next month are as follows, although Delta notes that routes and frequencies “remain subject to change due to the evolving nature of COVID-19”. An asterisk denotes that service is set to restart in the second half of May.
