Marriott International has opened the second Tribute Portfolio property in Germany, located in Frankfurt’s Gallus district.

Gekko House consists of 128 rooms with skyline views of the city. Each room features a curated city guide, Marshall Music Box, Nespresso coffee machine and skincare by Grown Alchemist.

Other amenities include a restaurant and bar concept, Chicago Williams, and The Gekko Späti which offers lighter bites, travel essentials and souvenirs. The Chicago Beach Rooftop, a lounge bar, is scheduled to open this summer on the property’s eighth floor.

Founders of The Gekko Group, Micky Rosen and Alex Urseanu, commented:

“The arrival of Gekko House as part of Tribute Portfolio is unlike anything on the German hotel market at present. Gekko House provides a more casual concept without compromising on design, style and comfort.

“Gekko House is a place where business travellers and tourists alike can come to unwind, let loose and enjoy life.”

Tribute Portfolio is described as a collection of boutique hotels with an independent spirit. It currently consists of 38 properties around the world, with the other German property located near Hamburg airport.
