American Airlines has announced it is suspending flights to and from Milan, Italy from both New York (JFK) and Miami (MIA) from March 1, 2020 until April 25, 2020.

The airline says the decision is as a result of reduced demand. American serves Malpensa Airport (MXP) from JFK and MIA. There is one flight to and from each city per day.

The airline says that its teams “…are contacting affected customers directly to accommodate their needs”. For those passengers whose flight has been cancelled, and who do not wish to rebook, the airline is offering a full refund.
