Air India Express has announced the addition of Tiruchirappalli-Doha route to its network.
Effective from March 31, 2020, the low-cost arm of the national carrier will start a direct flight from Tiruchirappalli airport in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu to Doha, Qatar.
The direct flight will operate thrice a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The flight will depart Hamad International Airport at 0440 and will land at 1155 (local time) in Tiruchirappalli and the return flight from Tiruchirappalli will depart at 0130am (local time) and arrive in Doha at 0340.
This is the first direct flight from Qatar to Tiruchirappalli International Airport.
