Lemon Tree Hotels is set to open a new property in Nagarkot in Nepal.

Bhangeri Durbar Resort, which will be operated through the hospitality brand’s subsidiary and management arm, Carnation Hotels, is expected to start by early 2021.

Spanning over four acres of landscaped terrain, the resort falls within the famous Panoramic Hiking Trail of about 15 kms from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel.

Bhangeri Durbar Resort will feature 51 rooms and suites equipped with modern luxury. Nestled amidst a dense forest area, this Lemon Tree-branded establishment  will offer stunning view of the Himalayas and Kathmandu valley.

A multi-cuisine restaurant, a lively bar, well-equipped banquet spaces, a swimming pool, a spa and a terrace deck are few other aspects of this resort that make it ideal for business as well as leisure travellers.

Expressing views on why Nepal was chosen as the next spot for the international expansion, Rattan Keswani, deputy managing director – Lemon Tree Hotels and director – Carnation Hotels, said, “Nepal is a preferred destination for Indian travellers, and with our widespread reach and exciting loyalty programme, we feel that this hotel will add value to our customers and vice versa.

“It will also add to our repertoire of hotels internationally, which include our existing hotel in Dubai and upcoming international launches in Thimphu, Bhutan and Kathmandu, Nepal.”
