A saxophone-shaped bar is the eye-catching centrepiece of The Club MSY, the premium lounge just opened at the new Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans.

Other prominent design elements of the 4,700-square-foot lounge – which opened at the end of January on the third level of the airport’s Concourse A – include a hand-blown crystal chandelier, photography by David Spielman and artwork by Ayo Scott, both local artists.

The lounge serves New Orleans-inspired cuisine created by chef John Folse and cocktails and spirits curated by mixologist Kathy Casey.

Like other lounges by Airport Dimensions, The Club MSY is divided into various “zones” for productivity, relaxation, rest, replenishment (dining), refreshing (restrooms and showers), and a bar.

Club MSY is the 24th airport lounge by Airport Dimensions (part of the Collinson group), and follows the recent opening of Club SJC at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International.

The New Orleans facility is available to members of Priority Pass, LoungeKey and Lounge Club. Day passes are $40, and discounts are extended to AAA members. Hours are 0430 to 2130 daily.

The Club MSY is the third lounge in Louis Armstrong International Airport’s new terminal, which opened in November 2019. The airport also has a Delta Sky Club on the third floor of Concourse C and a United Club on the first level of Concourse C.
