Charlie's at Brown's

Charlie’s at Brown’s in London’s Mayfair will be the venue for our next Business Traveller event on Monday March 9.

Hosted by editorial director Tom Otley, the event will take place at the contemporary British restaurant, overseen by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt (pictured).

The restaurant is located within Brown’s Hotel, part of the Rocco Forte group. Charlie’s is named after the founding Forte, Lord Charles, who loved traditional charm as well as modern touches in his hotels.

In his honour, Charlie’s marries much-loved convention with modernity, showcasing the evolution of British cuisine, with cosy booths, antique panelling and bright botanical wallpaper.

Overseen by chef director Adam Byatt, and led by acclaimed head chef Matthew Starling, produce and its provenance and seasonality are of utmost importance at Charlie’s, and each dish comprises authentic ingredients personally sourced by the team from the highest quality suppliers across the world.

Readers are invited to join us for welcome drinks, canapés and networking from 6.30pm, followed by a meal with wine from 7pm.

The menu can be seen here, and includes a starter of English asparagus, Iberico ham, fried egg, and truffle, and main course options of Cumbrian lamb T-bone with miso aubergine Ratatouille; and grilled miso aubergine with ratatouille.
