Radisson Hotel Group will debut its first Radisson branded hotel in South Africa in 2022.
The Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit will be located just outside the town of Hoedspruit in the Maruleng Municipality, close to the Orpen Gate of the renowned Kruger National Park, a major tourist attraction.
The 138-room property will have an all-day restaurant offering local and international cuisine, a bar and coffee lounge, a pool bar and a traditional lapa (an African thatched hut) overlooking the Drakensberg mountain range.
Leisure facilities will include Amani Health Spa, two swimming pools, a gym, a kid’s club and an equestrian centre, and the property will have various meeting facilities. Additionally, guests will be able to book various outdoor activities including game drives and abseiling at the hotel’s activity centre.
The hotel is a ten-minute drive from Eastgate Airport, which offers daily flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg. The town of Hoedspruit is known for its tourism and agricultural economy.

Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit will be the group’s fourth brand and 13th hotel in South Africa, bringing the group’s African portfolio to almost 100 hotels in operation and under development.
