Radisson Hotel Group plans to open a set of serviced apartments in Muscat in late 2022.

The Radisson Hotel Apartments Muscat Ghala Heights will have 280 keys, with the new-build property including a lobby bar, two restaurants, gym and outdoor swimming pool.

It will also have 850 sqm of meeting and events space, with two conference rooms and one ballroom.

Radisson currently has Radisson Blu, Park Inn and Radisson Collection properties in the Omani capital.

“The extended stay sector is increasingly becoming a mainstream business model rather than an alternative asset class,” commented Elie Younes, Radisson Hotel Group’s chief development officer.

“We thank our partners for their trust and look forward to an exciting and rewarding journey, creating opportunities for our guests, owners and employees.”

Younes recently spoke to Business Traveller about the group’s growth, brands and loyalty scheme.
