Intercontinental Hotels Group has opened a Crowne Plaza at Dubai Marina.
The company said it marked the 24th Crowne Plaza opening in the Middle East, with eight more in the pipeline, including three in the UAE and three in Saudi Arabia.
The 273-room, 24-storey hotel includes 32 suites and 91 Club Rooms with views over the marina. Club guests will have access to a lounge on the fourth floor.
All rooms have a “Guest Room Management System”, with settings including temperature, lighting and heating controlled through a touch panel, and a “Media Hub”, allowing guests to sync their devices to a surround-sound system using Bluetooth or display content on the TV screen.
The hotel also has 460 sqm of meeting rooms, a ballroom, swimming pool and 24-hour gym.
It has six F&B options: Charm Thai, which has an al fresco terrace overlooking the marina; ‘Lo+Cale’, an all-day international restaurant; Connexions, a lobby lounge with small plates; Hive, a lobby bar; Nara, an Arabic-style shisha lounge; and Aqua Marina, a pool bar.
Located on Al Yahoom Street, the hotel will target guests visiting the Dubai Expo 2020, a 20-minute drive away.
