W Hotels Worldwide has unveiled its new unisex amenity line with sustainable skin and hair care products from Italy-based luxury sustainable beauty brands Davines and Skin Regimen of the Davines Group.

The new skin and hair care products will replace the brand’s long-time amenity partner Bliss “from sink to spa” at all W Hotels properties this year.

The products, available only to W guests, will include the following:

  • Davines Momo Shampoo
  • Davines Momo Conditioner
  • Davines Momo Shower Gel (exclusive for W Hotels)
  • Skin Regimen Body Cream (exclusive for W Hotels)
  • Skin Regimen Cleansing Cream
  • Skin Regimen Vegetable Soap (exclusive for W Hotels)

Besides being featured in all the guest rooms and suites at W Hotels properties globally, the above Davines and Skin Regimen products will also be used at all W Away Spas starting this year, along with their sister brand Comfort Zone.

According to W Hotels, Davines is a certified B Corporation – a designation for “companies who use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems” – and CO2 neutral company that supports reforestation to offset its carbon emissions, and all their products are sulphate- and paraben-free.

W Hotels added that it also plans to offer the new amenities in waste-reducing, full-size bottles by the end of this year, as part of Marriott International’s initiative to reduce its hotels’ environmental impact worldwide.

Business Traveller Asia-Pacific previously reported that Marriott International has pledged to eliminate small plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel from its hotel rooms worldwide by December this year.

“W takes a bold approach to self-care and this new brand collaboration is no exception,” said Anthony Ingham, global brand leader of W Hotels.

“In choosing a new amenity line, we road tested many brands and formulations and not only love the way the Davines Group products look, smell and feel, but the values they stand for as a company. We are very excited to bring these products to all of our guest rooms across the globe.”

W Hotels is now a luxury lifestyle brand of Marriott International. This year, W Hotels will add properties in Philadelphia, Toronto, Chengdu, and Melbourne, and complete renovations in Washington DC, San Francisco and New York Union Square.
