Marriott has opened its first AC Hotel in the Chilean capital Santiago.

Located on the 17th floor of the Santiago Costanera Center, one of the tallest buildings in Latin America, the design-oriented hotel has 249 rooms.

Interiors are by Alemparte Barreda and Asociados, and feature locally-sourced art and modern design.

Flexible communal spaces include services such as Kallpods (frictionless wireless service buttons) and co-working desks.

Restaurant AC Kitchen will serve continental breakfasts, while a rooftop terrace hosts Luna Bar, with views of Santiago and a menu featuring cocktails, local beers and wines, and tapas.
