Spicejet has announced the launch of eight new international and domestic flights. Fights are scheduled to commence operations in February 2020.
Becoming the first Indian airline to offer direct connectivity between Ahmedabad and Jeddah, Spicejet has launched nonstop operations between the two cities February 20 onwards.
The low-cost carrier has also introduced daily flights on the Ahmedabad-Hyderabad route. The airline has also enhanced its operations with additional frequencies on sectors like Bengaluru–Chennai – Bengaluru (sixth frequency) and Bengaluru–Vijayawada–Bengaluru (fourth frequency). These flights will operate daily except on Tuesdays. The airline will ply the routes using a mix of 90-seater Bombardier Q400 aircraft and 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
