Plaza Premium Group, an international operator of independent airport lounges, will open its first US lounge at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in 2020.

The company already has a presence at DFW with its Allways meet-and-greet service, which launched in May.

The 59-seat lounge in DFW’s domestic terminal will feature hot and cold food items, as well as beer, wine and coffee. A second, larger lounge will be opened in the airport’s international terminal later in 2020.

The group is planning a $100-million global expansion in 2020-21 that will include another new lounge at Denver International Airport, a lounge and hotel at Sydney Airport, and lounges in Toronto and Jakarta.

Plaza Premium to open Aerotel and lounge at Sydney Airport

The company currently operates more than 160 lounges in 44 airports and 22 countries globally, including independent facilities and lounges operated jointly with airlines like Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa, and China Southern. The company’s first foray into North America was the opening of a Plaza Premium lounge at Toronto Pearson International Airport in 2007.

Aerotel, its airport hotel brand, debuted this year at Beijing Daxing and London Heathrow.
