Travelodge has opened a new-build property under its growing Travelodge Plus brand in Edinburgh.
Travelodge Edinbugh Park is located close to South Gyle and Edinburgh park stations and the City of Edinburgh Bypass, to the west of the city centre.
The Travelodge Plus concept was launched last year, and features features enhanced “budget chic rooms” with king-size Travelodge Dreamer beds, blackout curtains, USB ports, bespoke pixel wall art showcasing popular UK locations, and a new ‘Tranquility Zen’ colour scheme with tones of “warm taupe, serenity beige and light white”.
The properties also feature the group’s Super Room category which was launched in 2017, as well as a new bar café design with counter seating offering built in USB and laptop power, “more intimate booths and dining benches for groups”, and a new “statement bar”.

Travelodge Edinburgh Park is the first new-build Travelodge Plus property in Scotland – Travelodge Edinburgh Central was upgraded to the brand following a million-pound refurbishment programme.
This summer the group opened its first new-build Travelodge Plus hotel outside of London, in the Buckinghamshire town of Marlow.
