The Hard Rock group has announced plans to open a Prague hotel in 2023.

The 523-room hotel will be located near Generali Arena and overlook Lutna Park and Prague Castle. Next door, the group will open a Hard Rock Sports Bar filled with sporting memorabilia.

The hotel will have a rooftop bar, sixth-floor restaurant, lobby bar, coffee shop, rooftop pool, Rock Spa, gym, Rock Shop and business centre. The lobby will contain a 5,900 sqft feature wall described as a “soundwave of moving light”.

Guests will get complimentary use of Fender guitars and amps with headphones in their rooms.

Events will be held in a 1,800-capacity ballroom and 3,000-capacity outdoor space. There will also be 5,500 sqm of meeting space.

The Hard Rock Cafe was founded in London in 1971, though the Hard Rock International group is now headquartered in the US.

There are currently 184 Hard Rock Cafes, 237 Rock Shops, 28 Hard Rock Hotels and 11 Hard Rock Casinos.
