Marriott has opened the first property under its select-service Four Points by Sheraton brand in Qatar.

Four Points by Sheraton Doha is located close to the Musheireb Doha metro station, which serves the Musheireb Downtown Doha district and Souq Waqif marketplace.

The hotel features 120 rooms, free wifi throughout, a fitness centre, spa, sauna, Turkish bath and swimming pool, as well as four events spaces.

There are four food and beverage options, including an all day dining restaurant serving Arabic, Thai and international dishes, two lounges bars and a poolside bar.

It’s the ninth Four Points by Sheraton property in the Middle East, joining properties in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Kuwait.

Commenting on the news Alex Kyriakidis, president and managing director, Middle East and Africa, Marriott International, said:

“We are delighted to open the first Four Points by Sheraton in Doha. The brand’s comfortable hospitality experience and the hotel’s location in the heart of the city will make it the ideal place for business and leisure travellers.

“Qatar is an important market for us, and we continue to look for opportunities to expand our portfolio and support the country’s robust plans to develop the tourism and travel sector.”

The Four Points by Sheraton Doha joins existing Marriott properties in Qatar under the group’s Marriott Hotels, JW Marriott, Sheraton, St Regis, Ritz-Carlton, W Hotels and Westin brands.
