Further strengthening its presence in the midscale segment, Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the signing of a new Holiday Inn Express branded property in Bengaluru. The hospitality chain has collaborated with Thanishq Grande Hotels and Resorts for Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Bommasandra which is set to open in Q4 2022.
Commenting on this partnership, Sudeep Jain, vice president, development, IHG southwest Asia, said, “We are excited to collaborate with Thanishq Grande Hotels and Resorts for a new Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Bengaluru. The brand has received a phenomenal response in India and in the last couple of years we have significantly increased the brand’s footprint across key cities. This growth is also aligned with our strategy to expand our midscale offering and cater to the increasing number of domestic, ‘blesiure’ travellers in the country.”
Located on main Hosur Road, the hotel is close to Electronic City, one of India’s largest electronic and IT industrial parks and Bommasandra Industrial Area, thereby making it an ideal pick for business travellers.
Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Bommasandra features 170 rooms equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. There is also the brand’s signature Great Room to socialise and unwind.
In addition to this, there are two meeting rooms, a business centre and a fitness centre for guests to utilise.
