Vistara has commenced codesharing on Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Silkair flights to as many as 35 destinations across Asia Pacific and Oceana region. In addition to Singapore, the full-service carrier will now add its ‘UK’ designator code on SIA and Silkair-operated flights to cities in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia.

Moreover, Vistara will soon implement its codeshare to four cities in the US and five in Japan. These include New York (Newark), Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagoya and Fukuoka.

Commenting on this, Vinod Kannan, chief strategy officer, Vistara said, “We are committed to providing a global network to our customers. Our codeshare agreement with SIA and Silkair helps us to do this consistently to over 40 destinations around the world, given the high standards of product, service and operations that we share with them in common. We are sure that customers from India will appreciate the five-star flying experience to Singapore and beyond to their final destinations with us.”

In other news, Vistara has announced its Grand International Sale with return fares starting from ₹14,499 for flights to Bangkok, Dubai, and Singapore. Available for all three classes (economy, premium economy and business), the sale is on for bookings until October 23, for travel between October 28, 2019 and March 31, 2020.
