Thomas Cook India has rolled out a “double protection programme” comprising two unique offerings that are aimed at enhancing the traveller experience. The two aspects covered under this include “trip protection” and “guaranteed departures”.

As a part of trip protection programme, customers will be able to enjoy reduced cancellation charges for international bookings depending on the number of days prior to departure date and taking into consideration unforeseen circumstances such as visa rejection or delay, hospitalisation or death of a family member and blood relatives. These benefits can be availed by Thomas Cook India’s Simply Series offerings in addition to destinations like Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and USA. The fee for any cancellations made between 46-59 days prior to departure stands as low as 5 per cent.

On the other hand, the guaranteed departure programme ensures guaranteed group departures for international destinations.
