Buffalo Niagara International Airport in upstate New York has its first public airport lounge – The Club, part of the lounge network operated by Airport Dimensions, formerly Airport Lounge Development.

The 2,800-square-foot lounge opened last week on the concourse level of the airport, near the terminal’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security checkpoint.

“As guests enter, they will be greeted by a translucent wall that captures the cultural and historic character of the region with an image of Niagara Falls,” according to a press release.

“The wall will serve as the lounge’s focal point, along with photography throughout The Club highlighting the beauty of the Western New York region.”

The photos are by local photographer Joe Cascio.

Likewise the food at the lounge has local flair, with a menu designed by Nick Pitillo of Buffalo’s Osteria 166 and featuring a variety of rustic Italian pasta dishes and other specialties.

Cocktails are curated by Kathy Casey, owner of The Liquid Kitchen. Like other Airport Dimensions lounges, the Buffalo facility is divided into distinctive “zones” for productivity, relaxation, rest, replenishment, and refreshment.

Amenities include high-backed chairs for privacy while working, seating with views of the airport runways, a complimentary buffet, restrooms, and showers.

The lounge is open from 0400 to 2000 daily and is accessible by Priority Pass members and via day passes available for purchase for $40.
