British Airways has extended its current sale by an extra week, with up to 25 per cent off World Traveller and Club World tickets.
The promotion has been due to end on September 24, but will now run until October 1, with the carrier saying that discounts are available on over 150 routes.
The sale covers World Traveller, World Traveller Plus, Club World and First cabins, and on routes to Durban, Atlanta, New York, Toronto, Johannesburg and Islamabad there is the opportunity to upgrade to World Traveller Plus for £199 return.
Among the highlighted deals include return economy flights to San Jose (California) from £318, Club World fares from £1,349 return to New York, and flights in First from £2,599 to the Seychelles. For those looking for holiday packages, highlighted deals include from £99 for flights and two nights’ accommodation in Barcelona.
At the same time BA is also running a double Avios promotion, offering Executive Club members bonus Avios on up to ten flights.
The offer is valid for all members globally, and applies across all cabins and routes – members must pre-register for the offer here by December 13, and complete flights by June 30, 2020.
Customers who have recently booked flights in the carrier’s sale (which runs until September 24), can apply for their booking(s) to count towards the ten qualifying flights, and receive the double Avios.
In addition, UK members who book through British Airways Holidays will earn two Avios for every £1 spent (double the normal rate), as well as earning double Avios on the flight element of the booking.
