Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India, is strengthening its connectivity within Andhra Pradesh. Starting from October 1, the Indian regional airline will operate direct flights from Hyderabad to Vijayawada and Vizag.

Alliance Air will deploy its 70 seater ATR 72 aircraft on these routes.The new flights will “ensure faster connectivity and boost growth in the arena of travel and tourism.”
With Vizag being a key financial hub, the launch of this new service will benefit business travellers frequenting to this destination for work. Likewise, Alliance Air’s Vijayawada service will be beneficial for religious tourists who travel to the city for a visit to the ornate Kanaka Durga Temple.
The inaugural fares for flights on Hyderabad-Vijayawada route start from ₹1600 and that for Vijayawada-Vizag sector start from ₹2100.
