Asiana Airlines will begin non-stop flights between Seoul and Lisbon from October 28.
The South Korean carrier will offer twice weekly flights between the two cities starting next month.
The flights will depart Incheon International Airport on Mondays and Wednesdays at 14:30 and will arrive at Lisbon’s Portela Airport at 18:50. The return flight from Lisbon to South Korea will depart from Lisbon Portela Airport at 20:30 and arrive in Seoul at 17:50 the following day.
Asiana Airlines will fly an Airbus A350-900 on this new route, which has 28 Business Smartium Class seats, 36 Economy Smartium seats and 247 economy class seats. The business class service features 28 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. The seat width is 22 inches, while the pitch is 77 inches. Each seat is equipped with an 18.5 inch monitor.
The airline’s Economy Smartium seats (its premium economy product) are 18 inches wide, and have a seat pitch of 36 inches. The personal monitors accompanying the seats are 11.1 inches.
In other Asiana news, the airline said last month that it would suspend its Monday and Wednesday flights between London and Seoul.
