Irish hotel group Dalata has announced plans for the first London property under it Maldron Hotels brand.
Maldron Hotel Shoreditch London will be located at 49-51 Paul Street, and is expected to open in 2022.
Details are still sketchy, but the group says the hotel will have between 130 and 140 rooms, as well as a restaurant and bar.
Other properties in the area include Point A Hotel London Shoreditch, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, and The Hoxton Shoreditch.
Dalata says that Maldron Hotels offers “the perfect combination of value for money, outstanding facilities and efficient, always friendly service”.
The brand currently has hotels in 16 destinations across the UK and Ireland, including Belfast, Cork, Dublin and Newcastle.
Dalata also operates the Clayton Hotels brand, which recently opened a property in London’s Aldgate district.
The group says it plans to add 2,400 hotel rooms between now and 2022, with forthcoming properties in cities including Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow and Manchester.
