British Airways has launched its latest fare promotion, with up to 25 per cent off World Traveller and Club World tickets.

The sale is valid for bookings made by September 24, and the carrier says that discounts are available on over 150 routes.

The sale covers World Traveller, World Traveller Plus, Club World and First cabins, and on routes to Durban, Atlanta, New York, Toronto, Johannesburg and Islamabad there is the opportunity to upgrade to World Traveller Plus for £199 return.

Among the highlighted deals include return economy flights to San Jose (California) from £318, Philadelphia from £319, Pittsburgh from £349, and Houston from £399.

In Club World discounted fares include from £1,349 return to New York, £1,399 to Toronto, and £1,689 to Los Angeles, while in First promotional fares include from £2,599 to the Seychelles, £3,099 to Sao Paulo, £3,499 to Santiago, and £3,995 to Bermuda.

Note that the Toronto route will be among the first to see BA’s new A350 aircraft and Club Suite product (pictured above) from October 1.

BA says there are also Club Europe fares for under £200 available on over 30 routes, including Porto, Amsterdam, Ibiza, Seville, Bologna and Gothenburg.

For those looking for holiday packages, highlighted deals include from £99 for flights and two nights’ accommodation in Barcelona, and from £389 for flights and three nights’ accommodation in New York.

The sale launches just days before planned strikes by the British Airline Pilots’ Association, with the first of three days of industrial action set to take place on September 9.

The first episode of a new behind-the-scenes documentary  – British Airways 24/7: Access All Areas – is also set to air on Channel 5 this evening (September 5).

This month Business Traveller is giving readers the chance to win a pair of tickets on BA’s London City-New York JFK service, which celebrates its 10th anniversary on September 29.
