Marriott’s Delta Hotels brand has debuted in the Middle East with the opening of a property in Dubai.

The 360-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach, Dubai has direct beach access and sits within the Jumeirah Beach Residence waterfront development.

Room types include suites and serviced apartments.

The hotel has numerous dining options – Brazilian restaurant Fogueira, with views of the Ain Dubai observation wheel; American bar and grill Speakeasy; all-day restaurant Shores, with cuisines from around the world; Italian restaurant La Sala; and the Sama Lounge, serving platters with a view over Jumeirah Beach and Dubai Marina.

There is also 145 sqm of event space, including three function rooms and a business centre, a 24-hour gym, spa and an outdoor pool.

“We are excited to introduce the first Delta Hotel to Middle East and Africa region and believe the brand has immense growth potential in our region with its clear ethos of ‘simple made perfect’,” commented Alex Kyriakidis, Marriott’s Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa.

“Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach Dubai will deliver on this promise by providing a full complement of streamlined services in a simple and straightforward way offering both choice and flexibility. Its strategic location offers our guests the perfect way to discover the city in a manner that makes travel seamless and always enjoyable.”

Marriott has more than 60 Delta Hotels properties, primarily in North America.

The four-star brand’s first European property opened in Frankfurt last year, and it is in the process of signing up three UK hotels, in Cheltenham, Nottingham and Colchester.
