Premier Inn has opened the latest London property under its growing Hub by Premier Inn brand.
Hub by Premier Inn London City Bank is located on St Swithins Lane, close to Bank and Cannon Street stations.
The hotel features 61 rooms offering “about half the space” of a standard Premier Inn room (Bigger Rooms are also available), and featuring ensuite shower rooms, pull out desks, 40-inch smart TVs and free wifi.
There is also a cafe/bar, which according to the group offers “through-the-day light touch dining in a modern space, with a quality bar offering”.

It’s the eighth Hub by Premier Inn property in London’s zones 1 and 2, with three other hotels under the brand open in Edinburgh.
A further six Hub properties are under development in locations across London, with two hotels set to open by spring 2020 – an 89-room property next to West Brompton Underground station, and a 110-room hotel on Berwick Street in Soho.
Premier Inn launched the Hub brand in 2013, with the first property opening in Covent Garden the following year – for a review of this hotel see:
Commenting on the growth Alex Flach, UK Development Director for Whitbread, said:
“Hub by Premier Inn has huge potential. The brand is very popular with our customers and enables us to gain a presence in the most central and connected locations.
“ The latest opening at Bank is indicative of the quality locations we want for hub and how flexible we can be to acquire and develop the best sites. We’re actively looking for new opportunities to grow the brand.”
Business Traveller also reviewed the Hub by Premier Inn property on Torrington Place close to Goodge Street station last year.
