Hawaiian Airlines has announced the resumption of service between the island of Maui and Las Vegas, with flights set to begin in December.

The nonstop route will commence on December 15, with introductory one-way fares starting at $199.

Maui Now reports that flights will operate four days per week, departing from Kahului Airport on Maui on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and leaving Las Vegas on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flights will depart Maui at 2050 and arrive into Vegas at 0430 the next day. Maui-bound flights will depart Las Vegas at 0630 and arrive at 1100 Hawaii time.

According to Maui Now the airline last served the Maui-Las Vegas route in 2012.

The Maui-Las Vegas flights will utilize Airbus A321neo aircraft equipped with 16 first class seats, 44 premium economy seats, and 129 economy seats.

Hawaiian Airlines also announced that tickets are now on sale for two other new flights: thrice-weekly service between Honolulu and Seattle starting on Jan. 7, 2020 and seasonal winter flights between Maui and Los Angeles beginning on Dec. 15.
