Indigo is rapidly moving into the Middle Eastern aviation market with the roll our of several new flights recently. The latest addition by the Interglobe Aviation-led carrier is a fourth direct flight between Mumbai and Dubai.

The low-cost carrier will start this service from August 25, 2019. It will be a late-night flight and is aimed at accommodating the travel needs of business and leisure travellers who prefer to arrive early and have an entire day to utilise for work or leisure.

Expressing his views on this, William Boulter, chief commercial officer, Indigo said, “We are pleased to announce our fourth frequency between Mumbai and Dubai. This new flight will help business as well as leisure travellers who wish to travel late night, to make full use of the day they are in Dubai.

“The route has a huge pull for leisure as well as business traffic and has been instrumental in promoting trade and commerce between India and the UAE. We are committed to serving our customers with expansion on routes in line with the growing demand for travel.”

Other Middle Eastern sectors served by Indigo include Kochi-Jeddah, Delhi-Jeddah and Mumbai-Kuwait.
