From tomorrow and until August 31, guests booking visits to the Plaza Premium First lounge will be awarded double points for the lounge operator’s rewards programme Arrture, in celebration of the Hong Kong International Airport-based lounge’s first anniversary.
During the anniversary period, guests can also enjoy special drinks at the lounge’s bar, called Aerobar. The lounge’s mixology team will be serving anniversary-themed cocktails such as First Impression, a mix of white rum, Japanese milk, rosemary syrup and Japanese organic matcha and its mocktail version, called Emerald Garden.
Also on offer will be a truffle omni-pork tortellini served with pumpkin sauce – a dish created in collaboration with Green Monday, a start-up that promotes “plant-based lifestyles”.
The lounge’s dessert bar will feature first anniversary themed cakes and Viennese (see photo below), a coffee and chocolate syrup topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of chocolate flakes, created in collaboration with Lavazza, an Italian manufacturer of coffee products.
Guests who visit the lounge on their own birthdays during the anniversary period will get a birthday cake and a birthday card. Lounge staff will also offer these lucky birthday guests a polaroid picture before they head off for their flight.
Additionally, the first 200 guests to follow Plaza Premium First’s Instagram or Facebook and share their anniversary experience on social media using the hashtag #ExperiencingFirst, will receive a special flask with a selection of TWG tea.
